three day old pizza crust
a pack of smokes that i can't touch
feeling that same childish rush
i'm just standing here
they tried to tell me how to live
they heard me say it wasn't fair
why did i think someone such as you would care?
i'm just standing here
it wasn't easy for me to accept
you slept, i wept
but that didn't stop you when you left
i'm just standing here
i used to be the one you loved,
i held you on a pedestal so high up above
breaking hearts is all you can speak of
and i'm just standing here
