Hiding from
Streams of tears,
Breath stealing pain,
And mind blowing fears
In a place of
Butterflies
Drifting through the candy skies
Humming softly as clouds pass you by,
Denying all memories
Of the world where you'll die
You have this place
In the back of your mind
An imaginary land
Where
You'll take a stand,
Against every monster and every lie
This is the life
You've made for yourself
Deep in your dreams,
To your sanctuary you come
And with a pact,
A promise, a truce
Never again shall your pain take over you
