Inside every being lies a secluded sanctuary
One which is locked behind the bars of time
The prisoner awaits the moment when his jailer shall awake and set him free
But what if there is not jailer?
What if he has gone?
Who shall free him now?
He still reflects upon his disadvantages
And continues to pick up the shattered pieces of broken dreams and expectations
But perhaps… perhaps the one that hath the power to set him free
Is himself
Perhaps he is his own jailer
Imprisoned by his denial.
