Where I'd Gone
My well being has been ripped and shredded at all angle known to man.
Insecurity has replaced my first name.
Everything I do, say or think brings me back
To the memories of you.
My mind is racing with thoughts all the time,
School isn’t safe; your brain knows, but trust mine.
Your eyes were the first fire that burned my heart.
You weren’t cupid, but you had the dart
That froze me where I was
But that was back when
I wondered where I’d gone.
Today I’m still frantically searching
For the control I’ve lost in life
But you consider it as just past and no big deal
My fear has yet to peal
Since I’ve wondered where I’d gone.
