I Hear The End
I hear differences building a wall between each other
I hear respect hanging from a cliff, begging to stay alive
I hear corruption amongst the unnoticed
I hear compassion trying to come out and play
I hear the needs of the needy
I hear wants of people around me, but I disregard them
I hear the steps being taken towards the future
Yet I hear more steps walking towards the past
I hear the problems I haven’t hear yet
I hear reality screaming that this is real
Yet I hear voices of the past telling me that this wasn’t supposed to happen
I hear love striving to make everything better
I hear resolutions continually failing
I hear values changing for the wrong of humankind
I hear money flying to places of need, but getting there too late
I hear brains reaching for understanding
I hear world peace leaving out thoughts
I hear the new generation’s becoming too materialistic
I hear what I see
I see, but what do I do?
