Hearts
Delicate and full of life
After all without it you’d die
When you give it away
And it doesn’t come back whole
Even the tiniest of cracks
Can cause it to completely break
After being passed around too much.
Most fragile part of the body
Suppose to be handled with care
Think about who you let have your heart
Remember that with each crack comes heartache
And if it’s not meant to be
Heartache turns into courage
To do what is right for you.
If it’s mean to be
Heartache is the least of your worries.
