Stain In The Snow
Dragging my feet
Through the glimmering street
Blood flowing like rain
I cannot mask this pain
Where am I going?
I never have known.
My footsteps are slowing,
I'm here all alone,
With no one to save me,
And nowhere to go,
I think that I'm ready
As it starts to snow
The blood is still leaking from the gash in my calf
As it stains the white ground my heart gets ripped in half
And I think of our love I had tried mending,
Deluding myself with thoughts
Of a happy ending
