An Ode to Friendship

I hear them yell every night, it makes me cry,
Sometimes it feels like I want to die.
But then I think of my friends and family,
Instead of moping around sadly.
My friends help me when I need them.
They make me feel as if I'm a gem.
Thank you to those kind peers of mine.
Without you, I would have been gone in time.

This poem is really touching! it is AHH-MAZING! i <3 it! IT ShOuLd Be PuBlIsHeD!
I guess the beginning of the poem is about a child whose parents fight.
