It’ll be fun,

There’s no need to worry,

These are the thoughts that go through your mind

When you aren’t aware of what’s next to come.

I’ll be fine,

You have my location,

These are the words you tell us

When you aren’t aware of what’s next to come.

This is fun, just as I thought

Laughing,

Dancing,

Drinking,

These are the things you do

When you aren’t aware of what’s next to come.

Wait something isn’t right, I should lay down

“I’ll take her, she’ll be safe here” she said.

These are the acts that one does when they care for you

When you aren’t aware of what’s next to come.

This doesn’t feel right,

I never felt this way before

These are the feelings throughout your body

When you aren’t aware of what’s next to come.

You lay there

Motionless,

Lifeless,

Helpless,

“I can’t move”

“Is this really happening?”

These are the thoughts that go through your mind

When you are aware what was next to come.
