Dead and Gone to me

You told me you cared.
You told me you loved.
You told me you'd always be there.
All lies.
Lies that drowned me in happiness.
Until i realized you wou didn't care
You didn't love.
You weren't there.
You told me no matter how many times i fell, you'd catch me.
Now i can't stand you.
You told me you were someone else.
Now i will build myself back up.
After the tears and after the screams.
Now i won't let myself be torn apart over you.
No longer lovers, no longer friends.
No longer existant.
You're dead and gone to me.
And i am..releived.
