When I Was Little.
When I was little,
  I ran about
 
 With no worries in the world
 
 I wanted to grow up and be a queen
 
 I wanted to see the world.
 
 My daddy always said to follow your dreams.
 
 I wasn’t sure what to think.
 
 I wanted to grow up and to play dress up 
 
  And let my price charming find me.
 
 
 
 
 I wanted to have kids
 
 And help them through life,
 
 Even though I wouldn’t dare 
 Let them pick up a knife.
 
 As I grew up, I protected them with all
 My might,
 I would stay up all night.
 And Dream about sunlight.
 
 Now when I lay back in bed,
 I think what a dream 
 That I had. 
 
 I remember what my daddy said
 And I realize 
 I could be a queen
 Or anything….
