The Truth
Cry
Cry as if nothing matters
As if nothing is perfect
Because it’s not
And the sooner you learn that
The better
Cry
Let your soul leak
From your eyes
The color being washed away
Tears flow, unceasingly
Cry
Feel helpless, lost
It seems you’ll never recover
But listen closely
There is strength in a tear
Cry
But don’t be afraid
Don’t feel alone or forsaken
The sun will come out again
The clouds will disperse
Cry
But remember the others
Who have a reason to cry
Who are suffering
Who are truly alone
Cry
But let your tears dry
Let your sorrow fade away
Feel new found strength
As you welcome the day
Cry
But not for yourself
Go find someone else
Who is suffering
And comfort them
Cry
Cry for them
But remind them
That although it’s not perfect
The sun will shine again
Cry
But smile through your tears
For you know there will be,
There must be,
A better tomorrow
