I reach
But your hand isn’t there
I gasp
Fall through the thin air
I see
But really my visions unclear
I cry
Regretting every single tear
I think
But when does that ever work
I bet
That most everyone’s a jerk
I hope
But won’t you miss me if I’m gone
I sigh
Eventually you will move on
I ask
But will you catch me if I fall?
I guess,
Were you worth it after all?
I grab
But my fingers slip away
I try
To do it each and every day
I can
But do I really want to now?
I know
The why, I need the how
I find
But do I want to keep?
I die?
No, I go to sleep.
