You are the glass
Half full
Some see you as half empty
Not me
The weight of the world
Crush’s you
But you carry on
Like a bird
Flying on one wing
Back to its nest
In the middle of a raging storm
The lightning tries to strike you down
But you keep on through
They envy what you have
They want what you have
The hope,
The courage,
The way you live your life
They wish they could have the optimism
The hope
That lies within.
