A year of my life has just passed
Tears have been shed, hearts have been broken,
Rumors have passed through what seems like the whole world
Kids taking paths they may have not chosen

A year of my life has just passed
Teachers we like; teachers we hate
Try to tell us right from wrong
For many, help came too late

A year of my life has just passed
Like a burn book through hundreds of hands,
Many of our friends humiliated
They will never, ever get a second chance

A year of my life has just passed
Through laughter, sadness, truth, and lies
