Creativity Might be Insanity

If one had a choice
They ought choose creativity
Over happiness

The only problem is
It may lead to insanity
The consequent of reason

To succinctly express experience
The distinctives of humanity
Symptoms of knowledge

To seek and be without
The goal is objectivity
A lone wanderer amongst all others

To gain peace with the world
An impossibility
Quit seeking and accede to suffering

That horror of the mind
To accept subjectivity
Breaks the will and spirit

Mastered by demons
Or divine sovereignty
Thomist or empiricist all the same

The more different we seek to be
Ever more apparent similarity
Natures of the person

And so I am lost
Amidst anti-community
Alone right next to everyone else
