I'm Sad
I'm sad,
when you are away.
I understand sometimes I'm wrong,
but argue when I'm right.
I never thought talking to you was possible,
but when I try it's like I dont have a tongue.
Having you beside me makes my heart happy,
when you are away tears come to my eyes.
Sometimes I wish you were not in my life,
but without you my life is nothing.
You are like the sun and stars,
but when I need you from me you are always far.
You are my oasis in a scorching desert,
like the wind in my sails and the fish in my ocean.
You illuminate me like the sun,
without you life is just not as fun.
In short I am nothing without you,
When with you I feel life's just and true.
I wish an answer came,
every time I asked you, "why?"
But every time i ask you, you just shrug and sigh.
I know I should trust you, but sometimes I just wonder why.
But I always silence these doubts no matter how fair they may be,
and people always point out, how you never listen to me.
Saying hello is hard,
but not as hard as saying goodbye.
But every time I try to say it, I get this feeling inside.
Every time I try to summon the courage to talk to you, it slips away when I see you.
I guess things wont change,
it's the way things are meant to be.
