Tree
There is more to a tree
Then you and I see.
Leaves that float astray
As soon as the wind gets tough.
The branches
Which hold the leaves in place,
But break off
As time makes them rough.
How about the trunk
Which builds structure in the tree?
But underneath it all
Shows its true color.
Now haw about what's planted in the soil
Under all that re obvious to see,
Whether winter or fall
The roots consistent role, you never have to wonder.
They will always be there……
