There is more to a tree

Then you and I see.

Leaves that float astray

As soon as the wind gets tough.

The branches

Which hold the leaves in place,

But break off

As time makes them rough.

How about the trunk

Which builds structure in the tree?

But underneath it all

Shows its true color.

Now haw about what's planted in the soil

Under all that re obvious to see,

Whether winter or fall

The roots consistent role, you never have to wonder.

They will always be there……
