Float Away
float away
If only we could all just float away
In waters so calm, no feelings to sway
So calm, giving strength to apologize
So calm, giving courage to not tell lies
No need for worries of money and bills
No need for stress that give lives the shrills
Between land and land, between friend and friend
All fighting, all wars, all come to an end
No praying that flag will fall in your hands
“Please come back, my love, from faraway lands.”
Little child, there's no need to cry and weep
Mum and Pa aren't fighting, fall sound asleep
Maybe someday we can all float to peace
In waters so calm, out hearts are at ease
