As If It Were Different

Things are the same as they used to. You yell and you fight with such hate in your eyes. You run and you don't face the facts, you hate us. You're supposed to love me but instead you choose to leave with a trail of once loved. Stand up, speak your mind but speak the truth. I want you to stay, to stay where things might not be perfect but we have each other. We can live in peace and love for one another. We can live as if it were different.
