Spring's Melody
Spring’s Melody
What does thy love most of Spring’s harmony?
Crickets chirping their violin-like tunes?
A songbirds’ chorus, a grand symphony,
Or frogs croaking under the midnight moon?
Does thy wish to hear to nightingale sing?
Adore a peacock’s blue and green costume,
Or spot the goldfinch’s flashy yellow wings?
Can thy smell the blooming roses perfume?
Does thy wish for thy painted butterflies?
Or can thou feel the breezes cool whisper?
Lie in the shade under the peaceful sky.
Smelling the fresh pine, tall as skyscrapers.
Does thou feel the tune Spring gives?
We forget thou sorrows, we thrive to live.
