She wishes
She sits and wonders,
Wonders how to live.
Well, to how to start living.
She feels like nothing fits.
Where she lives who she's friends with,
Nothing.
Maybe she should just give up?
Or just maybe she should fight through it.
No, she can't take it anymore,
She's going to give up.
The wind whistles softly, as she stands on the ledge.
The ledge of that beautiful overlook where she's been many times.
Where she got her first kiss,
Where she made a lot of new friends,
And tonight would be the first night;
she would float to the bottom
And loose all meaning of what life is.
Inching closer to the edge, she starts to wonder,
No one could ever see her doing this.
Friends with everyone at school, and a nice girl,
They wouldn't see this coming.
She was going to shock everyone.
With one more step,
She'd be finished,
