God, the sea
I sometimes am tempted to flee
His great grace overwhelming me
Understanding cannot be
God, this great expanse
In which, I merely dabble and splash
Am I ill at ease,
At the thought of His increase?
My vice, this line to the shore
I will not concede
No longer bound by those ties
Now in Christ, I must relieve
No longer content to tarry and play
In that great sea,
You will find me.
Lost forever, in his Love, here I stay.
