Dreaming of the bell
That rings the last time
When the school year has ended
The day will be mine.

As for us all,
Who work hard for it
The right to leave early
Before it’s two yet.

The last day of school
We can do what we want
The summer is ours
No more writing in font.

The best day of the year,
By far it would win
Unlike the LEAP tests
That end in a bin.

So throw up your hands
And give a loud cheer
The time hasn’t come yet
But the time is so near!

But for now just stay cool
And try to relax too
The LEAP is our blockade
Like a cow in the street saying moo.

Just remember that day
And strive forward once more
As summer is nearing
School can’t hold us anymore.
