Once upon a time
When I was a young girl
I used to believe in fairy tales
The ones that end in happily-ever-after
And Prince Charming saving the day

I want to believe again
It made things seem alright
But its hard to believe when life is so rough
Maybe, just maybe, he will come
And rescue me from this life

I want to be someones fairytale princess
But I'm not a princess at all
I'm just another girl
One that people really don't see
But isn't that the story of Cinderella?

Maybe there's hope yet
For my fairytale ending
Somewhere out there is my Prince Charming
And I'll just wait for him to come sweep me away
So we can live happily ever after

This poem is what a lot of girls dream about everyday, but some of them know it will probably never happen to them.
