If you want to make it in life, you have to go through me.

I'm the tree branch that makes you stumble and fall on your face,
I'm the shoelace that trips you up in the championship race.

I'm the stress that causes you heartache and pain,
I'm the denied application that keeps you away from fortune and fame.

I am the harsh ridicule that keeps you depressed,
I’m the late night insomnia that keeps you from getting rest.

I’m the nightmare causing tears in your eyes,
I’m the failed attempts you have tried.

I constantly put your sanity to the test,
I’m the living hell that keeps your life a mess.

I am an OBSTACLE, and I’m going to make sure you don’t succeed
I want to ruin your present & future by all means.

This is a poem about what people go through everyday. People struggle to survive. I want everyone to know that this poem is encouragement for you to push forward and never let an OBSTACLE, whether its a person or event bring you down.
