Strolling through the aisles of Target, looking for each gift’s price,

Will never compare to the miraculous birth of God’s son Jesus Christ.

For in him and through his birth,

He was sent by God to save the earth.

When the angel appeared to Mary she heard,

And feeling unworthy, she said, “Do unto me according to Your word.”

Mothers shopping for their children during this season,

I remind you to recognize the meaning behind Christmas, the one true reason.

For many years ago on this very day,

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas day.

If we look past the material things,

Heaven will cry out and all the angels will sing

With praise as they celebrate this divine gift.

Because when you follow Jesus one by one,

You will start to see Christ in everyone.
