I'm from all things evanescent;
the fleeting fast and fading.
From holding on til nothing's there,
to the point where you're only grasping oxygen
but your lungs have stopped running on air.
I've morphed with the colors of the sunset as they've blackened themselves to from night;
from a different spectrum that has given up on light.
I'm from everywhere i've ever been and everywhere i'll ever be,
from waiting my eternity to finally be set free.

I'm going to a point where I can fill up my lungs and actually breathe,
to a point where I can open my eyes and actually see.
I'm going to the unknown and taking off in flight;
to an area painted in shades of gray,
not just black and white.
