frozen.
never moving.
forward, or backward.
left or right, either
I guess.
but also never still.
around and around
in constant circles.
never sleeping.
but never truly ‘awake’.
daydreaming.
a dream in the light.
cursed to the dark.
no one ever knows me.
no one ever finds me.
alone in this world,
with so many voices,
that is still so quiet.
