Mama said,
sweetheart, love wholeheartedly,
and hold on 'til death.
Then Mama said,
darling, we're all victims,
in my life love led.
After Mama said,
honey, learn to forgive love,
mine fled.
And in the end Mama said,
love, love don't matter.
But, Mama,
yes, it did.
It did.

This was really pretty. It has a really nice balance... a good voice, I guess.

I really liked it.

Holy cow, you are a WRITER! This poem has a lovely feel to it, like a comfy old poem written as a dialogue between a young adult and their mother. In the beginning, it feels as though the person is younger and listening to their mother's advice about love. Then, later on, at the end of the poem, it feels as though the person has grown up some and lived life for themselves, and now has a different opinion. Anyways, amazing work.

Wow, that's amazing. I like how it kind of appears that this person's mother is having an inner conflict with love.
