Scars
In the end, we all die
Buried under our fragile lies. While the earth consumes our bones
Our hearts turn black and cold as stones.
These are the scars of death.
For the sins we have commited.
Forget the hate we have omitted.
In the end we are alone,
Caught inside an empty soul.
These are the scars of death.
While our bodies are consumed by lust,
our spirits are left alone, in the dust.
And while we fall into the depths of Hell,
Not even God can see us now...
These are the scars of death.
