When i’m feeling down
I go to the funnest place in town
My feet on the muddy grass
Just waiting for a pass
I finally get the ball on the edge of the box
Take a quick look so that I don’t get blocked
I take the shot and it goes in
The referee blows the whistle and we win!
The game is over, all covered in mud
After all the sweat, tears and blood
Winning the game made me feel great
We all lifted the trophy to celebrate
Soccer is more than just a sport
More than just running on a court
You forget about all your problems
Sports is the answer to solve them
