Not a day passes by
without thinking of you.
The choices that you chose to make
were nothing but mistakes,
that cost my life nothing but
pain and misery.

The trust I once thought
I'd always have in you,
has slowly faded and flown away
like birds that go south for the winter.
The love we once shared
has been locked up in a cage
that no matter how hard I try
I just can't seem to break into.

I only have a few,
great memories with you.
I'll treasure them forever
because I know there wont be anymore
In the rest of my life to come.
