the flame you had used to burn red and true
but now it has faded into a light shade of blue
i thought you were different
but now i beg to differ
because our relationship has suffered
it may be hard to say good-bye to you
but what once was is no longer
and i know i'll come out stronger
the only thing you did for me is be my opstical
another hurtle to leap
to make me stand on my oun two feet
so good-bye forever
because what once was is no longer
