It Ends Tonight
Fireworks shatter the sky,
Into a million broken pieces of luminescence.
Explosions across the heavens,
Send a message to us all.
Screams of laughter and cries of cheer,
Lead us to our inevitable fate.
Leaving us speechless and confused,
The world spins ten times faster.
Blindly we face ourselves for an answer,
While showers of memories rain upon us.
Then the realization comes,
And we know that it ends tonight.
