Some friends will stay, most of them will go
Say they'll last forever, but then, what do we know
They walk the halls with you, seems as if they care
But reason being, they get lonely walking downstairs
They say they got your back, until the time comes
When you're in trouble, they leave you like bums
You ask them why
They don't reply
Some may lie
The truth, you deny
Some years later, they come back around
Wanting to be real friends, unlike the past- they clowned
Because now your successful, they, who struggle
Wanting your sympathy, and help them walk without a stumble
They see the neglect, payback, now this is war
Now you can see how I have felt, with you, before.
