The Seed

You’ve planted the seed
The soil, the hatred
The water, anger
The plant will grow
Getting bigger and bigger
Its spreading will never cease
You cannot stop it
You cannot turn back time
What was done is done
Its pollen is spreading
Like rumors
Like gossip
Cursing the land to start more life
Life of sickness and sorrow
I will always remember
It will always hang over my head
For the seed has been planted, it cannot be undone
