You chose your friends over me
I was on a high this afternoon
I had had the best day
Hanging with my best friend
But something changed in the evening
We met through my best friend
We started talking late at night
I never thought we would become such close friends
Even more I thought sometimes
You made me laugh
You made me smile
But lately I have seen the other side of you
When you’re with me alone talking, I can trust you, laugh with
you and get along with you
But when I recently met your friends, things have changed
You started acting obnoxious and more like a normal boy. A jerk.
But you were never a normal boy to me
You were kind, considerate and understanding
…and I miss that boy a lot
Why do people change, why does it have to be this way
Is it always going to be like this….?
