I dreamed of you tonight
the last time you dwindled out of sight

I know you are here
but forever is no comfort when I can not see you near

you told me that night
when you held me tight
that your love was eternal
and could never be stopped by a feat or hurtal

now that I look back I cannot help but to remember,
that glow
that aura
was more than just a humans presence

you had known it was iminate
and had subtly let me know
but that night i took for granite
and as the last i still cannot stand it

i should have recognized that being so strong
the plight i expected
was disguised in confidence and angelic expresson

but as i move on i hope to apease,
the one in heaven who got me down on one knee
