Believe
Vanilla, Caramel, Chocolate colored skin
All the colors of the rainbow mixed within
People talk and hate on our skin
But they don't know the beauty that lies within
They tell me what color I should be
But they don't know what fits me
Or how God has made me
They criticize me because my skin color is lighter or darker that thee
Which makes me believe that they have no respect for me
Think about what this world would be
If we did not judge what we could be
Instead of destroying our brothers and sisters
Let us encourage them to be who they are and believe
That one day we will achieve all our hopes, desires, and dreams
