41 the light
The darkness is delight
These tear stained words
Drown the meaning behind them
Pulling skin from flesh
As the barrel burns the surface.

All the things I need to write
Please 41 the light
Cover me in darkness
As if to repress
An Unwelcome hope of happiness

With grace I fall
Over and over
No chance to recover
My knees buckle in the bright
Please 41 the light
Ima’ drowned this soul
Take it by the neck
end its torture role.
As it falls further
Into the pits of your pupils
Tearing mine form their place.

Hide my eyelashes
Drowning in puddles of you.
Please 41 the light
The darkness is delight
Close you eyes and breathe deep
As I happily welcome sleep
