Why won’t you listen
While I give you that clue
Why can’t you listen
When I try to tell you
That you are hurting each other
Hurting everyone
With yelling and screaming
And you get nothing done
Just listen
When someone gives you advice
Just listen
Don’t even think twice
If you practice
What you’re preaching
Every single person will listen
They’ll listen to you

The author's comments:
This poem was inspired because I feel that sometimes, nobody listens and they jump to scary conclusions, when there was just a simple explanation. I would just like people to listen to what i am trying to say to them. Why won't they?
