Candle Light

My life is like a candle light
But a very different kind of fire
One person holds my life
I feel when they hold it
I feel when they touch it
My light once was burning low
My waxen cave diminishing
My thread of life running out
But that someone suddenly appeared
Rebuilding my cave
Adding their own thread of life to mend mine
My candle light flared
Burning brither than ever
Not the usual red yellow or orange
But deep purle and blue
Glowing with life
Passion
Happiness
Never will I leave them
I shall remain true
For them I burn forever
Because you see...
My life is like a candle light

Oh, this is a beautiful piece! You have the ability to imagine things that are not usually witnessed and thought of. You can put things into words in a way that no one has thought of. That is a beautiful thing to do, and not often seen in this time. You put a hardship and experience that is so often seen now into words that describe them perfectly!
