As you drive by the hospital,
You don't even flinch,
Not thinking of the heartbreak,
Sorrow,
And confusion,
That lies behind the door.

There is a person,
In the ER,
Whose brother,
Has been in a,
Car accident.

There is a woman,
In the ICU,
And she's crying,
For her love,
That fell off a,
Building.

And there's a father,
Who waits,
At his daughter's bed,
In rehab.,
While she's recovering,
From two broken,
Wrists.

So when you pass,
The hospital again,
Remember,
The person,
The woman,
And the father,
Because next time,
It could be,
You.

This is so wonderfull, you have blown my mind with this beautifull poem.

I think of how many people that do drive by a hospitial quite often and not think about the pain and sorrow that is going on, every minute, with someone, behind those doors.

I am so very proud of you, you just can not imagine, how proud i am of you and your many talents.

YOUR PROUD GRANDMOTHER
