It all started with a hello
You swore you loved me
You promised we would take it slow
But now that you are gone I can’t see
You said I didn’t care
You said you meant nothing to me
I loved you more than you could compare
But I just wish you could see
I tried to tell you what happened
I tried to make you understand
Soon my heart began to darken
As you gave me the shorthand
Why could this turn out differently
I don’t understand why it started
I loved you dearly
But now you have left me broken hearted
