From this dull red blade
Forged in heart's plunder,
Does false Aphrodite proclaim
Pain's numb slumber.
In this warm beating casket
Brimming of benevolent desire,
Does Swift Foot Time kill
Eros no higher.
Out of the spring flowers
Held in Venus' locked chain,
Does hollow petals compose
All "Man's Bane."

With its end,the Hollow Wood

Never go,

For it stole, Juliet and

Romeo.
