Why Judge Me
You don’t know my story so why judge me
You’re not my captor you can’t set me free
I put on a smile to hide the pain inside
I have no one in which I can confide
Everyday I send out cries for help
But my differences leave me by myself
Everyday I’m battered and bruised
I’m only loved so I can be misused
A scapegoat for others pain
I’ve shed so many tears I could make it rain
Would you be so critical if you were me
The sadness and pain you’d finally see
I’ve fought battles I should’ve never fought
Learned things I should’ve never been taught
Again I ask why judge me
The outward appearances is all you see
If only you’d reach out a hand
Then maybe you’d understand
I’m human just like you
Our differences are the problems we’ve been through
So again I ask you to think about this
For there will always be something you miss
You don’t know my story so why judge me
From our problems we all wish to be free
