You; despairing.
Hold the kisses, oh so tender on my lips;
“I love you’s” that make me tremble inside.
The sweet love texts, that radiate my thoughts;
“I want you’s” send a chill down my spine.
Hold the hugs, a shield keeping me harmless from the rest of the world;
“I need you’s” despairing me, making me hopeless. Reckless. For more.
The phone calls, luring me in with that smooth, melodious, southern accent;
“Baby’s and Love’s” giving me that feeling inside, fondness, of you.
Where’s the truth in all this?
Between all those lies sweetie,
You’re leaking the truth.
