The Celebration of Christ
Christmas is a time to rejoice,
You sing carols with a soft voice.
We praise our lord and our savior too
Bringing our worries to few.
In heaven how did they celebrate,
When Christ was born on this date.
Did they have balloons filled with air,
And dance around without a care?
Did they laugh in a careless style,
Or cry joyful tears with big, bright smiles?
I’m sure they were filled with joy,
Like when we get our Christmas toys.
The angels looked down at Christ’s beautiful smile,
That lit up the sky for many miles.
Were they singing gleeful songs,
or just simply humming along.
How did they feel,
since our savior was here to heal?
I can hear the celebration now,
The happy sighs, joyful cries, and the quiet meditation,
Because the Savior was born to give us salvation.
