I never did say I was nice

A rose can symbolize something
Such as love and death
The colour red, love
The colour pink, beauty
The colour orange, friendship
The colour yelow, happiness
The colour blue, sadness
The colour purple, loyalty
The colour white, purity
The colour black, death
You see
Just one can symbolize something
Even no one to hug or kiss
But to know and charish
A rose is like life
We grow and then we die
But a new rose is reborn.

I intended to give the meanings of life and love the rose and put all the colors to a meaning of the days of your lives.

My only question would have to be just how much closure did you intend to give this poem? You shouldn't try and define something in a poem, you're supposed to manipulate the reader to define the diffeent entities and beings.

Otherwise, I'm interested.
